Better things for everyday living.

A consumer brand built on China's manufacturing base. We find ordinary objects worth improving, improve them, and stay accountable for them all the way to the door.

Home & everyday goods — first range in development

01 Goods

Small things, used daily.

Three shelves of a household, and a single test for anything that lands on them — how it behaves on the hundredth use, not the first.

01 / Storage

Fits the shelf it
was bought for.

Boxes, bins and dividers sized to real furniture rather than to a catalogue. Stackable where stacking helps, and nowhere it doesn't.

02 / Desk

Earns its
footprint.

Trays, risers and organisers for the surface you actually work at. Few enough objects that the desk still reads as a desk.

03 / Everyday

Improved, not
reinvented.

Jars, hooks, caddies — the ordinary equipment of a household, with the one irritating detail taken out.

Status The first range is in development — sourcing, sampling and testing. Nothing is for sale yet.

02 Standard

What has to be true
before the name goes on.

Five things, all of them checkable, none of them about the marketing.

  1. 01 / Endurance

    Better on the hundredth use
    than on the first.

Anything that only impresses at unboxing has failed the test that matters.

  2. 02 / Fit

    Sized to furniture people
    already own.

A drawer insert that misses by four millimetres is a drawer insert that gets thrown away.

  3. 03 / The fix

    One named irritation,
    removed.

Every category has a detail everyone has agreed to tolerate. If we cannot name ours, we have not found the product yet.

  4. 04 / Held

    Nobody signs off
    from a photograph.

A sample gets used — for as long as it takes to find what is wrong with it.

  5. 05 / Accountability

    One name
    on the box.

If it fails in a kitchen in Ohio, it is ours, not the factory's.

03 Chain

Scattered capability,
one brand.

  1. 01 / Source

    Find the factory,
    not the trader.

A trader can only sell what already exists. Standing at the line is what makes a second version possible — the one with the annoyance taken out.

  2. 02 / Improve

    Ship the second
    version first.

Every category already has an object that almost works. The opening is the part everyone has quietly agreed to put up with.

  3. 03 / Own

    Accountable to
    the doorstep.

Freight, warehousing and the last mile are contracted out. The responsibility is not. One name is on the box from the factory floor to the door.

Plate 01

From many factories to one door.

Goods from separate makers consolidate into a single shipment, wait in a warehouse near the customer, and finish the journey with a local carrier. The brand is the only thing that never changes hands.

Many makers → one name → one door
